Just rambling

I go to various forums. Because of these places, I learn a lot about different things. I go to www.cre8asiteforums.com. That is where I learned about having a journal. I started out going to www.webproworld.com. That's where I found Karen, who so kindly redid my site. I went back there today (webproworld) and learned about a forum that offers support for hepatitis c patients, caregivers, friends, and families. Even though my site is not a forum, I couldn't help but go there. I read some of the entries, just to see what they were saying. I fell in love with the place. They make sure that you understand that they are not offering medical advice and you should never take what they say over the advice of a physician. But they try to be supportive and non judgemental. I don't know why they decided to start this forum. All they say is it was for personal reasons. That's good enough for me. I like what they're are doing and had to mention them in this post. If you want, you should check them out. The URL is www.communityonthe.net/board/. No one I know has hepatitis c, but I still enjoyed going there. It was an eye opening experience for me.

One thing you should also know about is Blogger. This is where I update my journal. It is easier than trying to write my own page to do this, since I'm so new to this kind of stuff. Blogger is easy and free to use. And if you have any problems setting up your blog, you can always ask me for help. If I don't know the answer, I can find it for you.

God's blessing to you and your family.

Do you like to write?

I love to write. I've been writing poetry since junior high school. Well I found this place that is dedicated to nothing but writing. I went through it the other day just to see what was going on there. I found it very interesting. The site is TechGnome's World. If you get a chance, go check it out. This person definitely has a different way of looking at things.

Now on to other matters. I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about a forum that I go to fairly often. The name of the place is Digital Betas. It is a great place to learn about the newest tech news. You can also ask any question about technology and get answers from people that don't make you feel like a complete idiot. That's one reason I go there. I'm fairly new to all this. What I know, I taught myself. So needless to so, I still have a lot to learn. These guys don't treat me like an idiot just because I ask a question that most other should know. I like that. Why can't more folks be like that? Why do most people assume that just because they know something that everyone else does as well? That's not always the case. I learned that a long time ago. What's so bad, most of the people on this forum are younger than me. It feels weird taking advice from a 16 year old, but this guy knows what he's talking about. So I always make sure to listen to what he has to say. Plus he's learned that if he doesn't know, don't be ashamed to say so.

I know that I usually talk about my program or my children, I just wanted to tell you about these places. I think you'll enjoy it if you go there. I do.

I'm going for now. I need to at least pretend that I've done some work around the house.

God's blessing to you always.

I wonder

I wonder if anyone even reads this thing. I know my life isn't exciting. I stay home, clean house, cook and take care of the kids. I have few friends, most of which are from church or from the net. I know to some people this may sound dull, but I don't think so. I don't need a lot of excitement. I have a husband that loves me, and two wonderful children. We may not have a lot of money, but we do get by. I love watching my children sleep. To me there is such peace to be found during that time.

I do have friends and family that I can count on to be there when I need them. It's really nice knowing that. There is no way that I'd trade my life for any amount of money. There's an old song, "I Wouldn't Take Nothing for my Journey Now." That's how I feel.

I know I don't talk about politics or current events that are happening in the world. I figure that people are bombarded with so much bad news, what's the use of my reminding people about that. Not everything in the world is bad. But it seems like that's all we hear. Very seldom do we hear about the good things that are happening. Call me the hopeless optimist. I guess I have to believe that there are good people out there. I seem to find them. LesG from midistudio, who I mentioned in an earlier post, Phillip, who is helping me build a new computer, CgFreak (Robert), who draws some of the most amazing pictures, Karen, who redesigned my site even though I'm not non-profit. The list goes on and on. These are people who have never met me in person, yet they are willing to help, not for any personal gain they may get, but just because they want to. We need more people like this in the world! To all the people who have helped me, I want to say thanks. You bring me joy and laughter. You bring me sunshine and hope. You let me know that there are still some very kind people left in the world. Thank you for your friendship and support.

May God always Bless you and keep you safe.

My program

While I really enjoy doing this program, with the way things are looking, I may have to end it soon. I simply can't afford to keep it going.

For whatever reason, people do not seem willing to help me. I know this is not a non-profit organization, but I was really hoping that people would be willing to over look that part. I've tried to get that status, but it cost over one thousand dollars to do so. I just don't have it.

I will try to keep this going for as long as I can, and I want to thank everyone who has helped me. I have met some very nice people on the internet.

I hope God watches over you always.

A Great Place to Learn About Blogs

I found this wonderful forum that discusses nothing except blogs. Which is what my journal is. The address is http://www.bloggerforum.com/. These people there talk nothing but blogs. I found it when I did a search. I really feel this place will help me get my journal noticed. All I can do now is wait and see.

Thanks for coming. Hope you have a Great Day!!!

I just put in a script where you can comment on my post. I hope you will use them. I would like to know what you think of my site as well as what I have to say. I promise, nothing you say will make me mad.

Please know that comments are welcome.

I'm just keeping touch.

Nothing really happened today. I went to church, came home, fixed something for everyone to eat, and went back to church. Pretty normal day. The thing is, I like going to church. I like to worship God. I was listening to Paul Harvey a couple of weeks ago and heard about a church in Texas, I think, that was having a contest. It was opened to members and visitors alike. The person who came to the most services won something. The gentleman won a Harley, the lady won a PT Cruiser.

I don't understand this reasoning. To me, going to church it reward enough. I get to worship God. I get to feel the love he has for me. It's a shame churches feel that they have to have contests like this just to get people to come to church. My church just celebrated it's first year of being open. That was the singing I told you about yesterday. On average, we only have 16 people, but I don't see my pastor doing something like this just to get people to come here. And to tell you the truth, if he did, I'd probably leave and go to another church.

Don't misunderstand me, I have nothing against this other church. I don't even know which one it is or what demonination it is. I'm just stating my opinion.

The closest I've come to having a contest like this is about Easter. The contest was who could bring the most visitors during a certain time frame. And sometimes, because of this we got more people to become members that might not have been originally. I never really participated in this contest because the woman that usually won the contest need the prize more than I did. I was always glad when she won. Plus I liked to see the church building full during this time.

Why don't people want to go to church? Don't they understand that God loves them? I get such a warm feeling when I go to church. I enjoy feeling the love from the other people there. I enjoy seeing the way God moves and touches people's lives. I've seen things that would surprise you. People who could only walk around with canes, were able to run the isles. I've seen people get so close to God that they were having their own private conversation with Him. I've seen people cured of cancer and other diseases. There is nothing God can't do. After all he made us, why can't He heal our bodies?

I didn't mean to go on like this, I just don't understand some people's reasonings.

Anyway, I hope God always watches over you and my He bless you and keep you safe.
