Have you noticed???

I changed the way my email reads on my site and I still get some of the weirdest emails around. I keep getting emails wanting me to get medication that will increase the size of certain male parts. There's one BIG problem with that. I don't have male parts. And all the emails are address to info. My name isn't info. I get so tired of getting these things and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm pretty sure you're reading this and saying to yourself, I know exactly how she feels. The US made such a big deal about this anti-spam law and how it would reduce the amount of emails we get. HA!!! I get more not than I ever did before. I even get those that tell some sob story about how this person is being persecuted and they have to get millions out of their country and need my help to do this. Of course they're going to pay me for my trouble. Like I really believe that. I'm really going to give them all this personal information about myself like my banking account number. Do these people think I'm completely off my rocker?! I don't trust anyone with that information. If it isn't these emails, I get the ones that tell about how some person wants to meet me and go out on a date. I happen to be happily married.

I delete more emails than I actually read. And the attachments! I get some lulus. At least I have decent security on my computer so I don't get that many viruses to come through. I get more change start page than anything else. At least so far. It sure is a hassle getting things back to the way it should be.

I know you didn't come here to read about my email troubles, but I just had to fuss about that, and I appologize if this has offended anyone. I just had to get this off my chest, so to speak. When I go to a site looking for emails to send something to, I at least try to find a name to use instead of just putting something down. I get tired of having email addressed to info. If you are going to send me an email that advertises a product, at least make sure my name is on the email! Is that too much to ask? I hope not.

I also want you to watch for the ones that say application approved. I don't fill applications over the net. It's too easy for someone to be spying on me and get that information. Word of warning, if you don't know who the email is from, just go ahead and delete it. You are a lot better off in the long run. Don't even worry about doing an unsubscribe because all that does is let them know that someone checks the email and it incourages them to send more.

Okay, I'll get off my soap box and wish you a good night. I pray the Lord blesses you and watches over you.
